On Sunday I got a text from Condor stating Monday's boat was cancelled due to weather. At the time I was at the Premier Inn - and after enquiring and finding out they wanted another £100 for 1 night, I checked booking.com for availability elsewhere - and this popped up for £38 a night. I worked on the road in the UK and have stayed at A LOT of hotels and BnB's in my time - so was only really after a place to put my head down. Genuinely - probably the best £38 I've ever spent. Colin is an absolute delight and will happily ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The rooms are very clean, with TV's, a kettle, fridge and microwave. Proximity to a local Waitrose, pub and a great fish and shop is perfect AND breakfast was included! Two whole kippers, a jug of coffee, toast and marmalade! Honestly - there's a reason this place comes so highly reviewed. Will happily be stranded in Guernsey again if I get to stay here!

Offering a restaurant, free WiFi and free parking, Longfrie Inn is located in St Saviour Guernsey. A 9-minute drive from Guernsey Airport, Saint Saviour's Nature Reserve is also 3 minutes' drive away.... Very friendly staff, nicely appointed room, great food.

Le Douit Farm Self Catering is situated in the Parish of St. Martin, a field away from St. Martin's Parish Church. St. Peter Port town centre and harbour are 2 km from the property. Housekeeper available if any problems. Easy to reach from airport. Quiet. Everything there you needed during stay. Clean and comfortable.

My husband, my elderly mother and I had a fantastic week at Ilex Lodge. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The beds and bedding were so comfortable, and everything we needed was there for us. There were even lovely touches such as a loaf of local raisin bread and a bunch of fresh local flowers that made me smile. The lodge is in lovely gardens and I really appreciated the trees, birdsong and flowers just outside the windows. It is an easy, pleasant walk into the heart of St Peter Port and the harbour, so Ilex Lodge is in a fantastic location, close to town, but quiet and peaceful. The three of us arrived exhausted and desperately in need of a holiday, and left rejuvenated and recovered. It was exactly the holiday we needed. Thank you so much.

Ellingham Cottages ligger bara 6 minuters bilresa till St Peter Port, inom gångavstånd till Guernseys södra kust och klippor. Här erbjuds 12 stugor med 2 eller 3 sovrum. Close to the beauty spots in the south of the island. Cottages were clean and comfortable. Cottages were very quiet.

Located in the heart of St.Peter Port just 75 metres from the high street, this 3-star hotel offers boutique style rooms with iPod docks and LCD TVs, along with free parking and free ultra-fast Wi-Fi.... Det fanns det nödvändigaste gällande mjölk, juice yoghurt, flingor, bröd och pålägg, men utbudet var sparsamt. Huvudsakliga frukosten var det tänkt att man skulle beställa från menyn och där fanns det mer att välja på. Fruity pancakes var väldigt goda och vackert upplagt.

Le Pommier ligger i Castel, 12 minuters promenad från Cobo Beach, och erbjuder boende med en säsongsöppen utomhuspool, gratis privat parkering, en trädgård och en gemensam lounge. Breakfast was outstanding. Staff were outstanding and so helpful. Location was listed near town, but it was far from town. It was, however, near the beautiful Cobo Bay, with the most beautiful sunsets.

The Captains ligger i St Martin Guernsey och erbjuder en gemensam lounge, en terrass, en restaurang och en bar. Everything at The Captains was first class a warm friendly welcome spacious very comfortable room with walk in shower and a great breakfast with everything from fresh fruit bowl muesli yoghurts fresh juices followed by a grand selection of cooked breakfasts including full English and even scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. I loved the location within easy walking distance to the beaches and if needed a bus stop just outside the door to whisk you off to the delights of the capitol or back to the airport.I had a lovely time here it was exceptionally good value and I can heartily recommend The Captains for anybody looking for some good old fashioned friendly hospitality . Beau Vallon Holiday Apartments ligger i St Pierre du Bois och erbjuder boende med utsikt över trädgården, gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering, mindre än 1 km från L'Eree Beach. The most comfortable beds we have ever slept in whilst away, the linen was pure cotton white, crisp clean and so comfortable. The apartment was spotless, the towels are soft. We didn’t use the oven but it was spotlessly clean. Everything was perfect and very comfortable.
