Halepuna Waikiki ligger i hjärtat av Waikiki, 2 minuters promenad från Waikiki Beach. Detta lyxiga boutiquehotell omges av shopping och restauranger. Beautiful hotel, very clean and new facilities. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby area is quiet compared to other hotels that have a lot of tourists, so that was a plus for us.

Ocean Breeze Inn ligger i Keaau, 20 km från Lava Tree State Monument, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en terrass och grillmöjligheter. The apartment is very pretty and clean, it’s right next to the ocean and the views of the coast are amazing. Perfect place for birds lovers. The host is very friendly and has a lot of helpful tips. There is a laundry room, barbecue and beach items for the guests to use.

Coffee Garden ligger i Captain Cook och erbjuder boende med utsikt över bergen, gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering, 6,9 km från Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park. A wonderful stay, with fantastic hosts. Such a friendly welcome in an oasis of calm. A little way from Kona for those wanting to hit the town, but for us very worthwhile. Thanks to Ping, Stanley and Max for welcoming us into their home.

Volcano Eco Cabin Retreat är en stuga som ligger i vulkanen, 16 km från Kilauea och 9,6 km från Volcano National Parks entré. We loved everything about the accomodation. The atmosphere is wonderful, in the middle of a forest, calmness, silence, beautiful starry nights, jungle sounds. The lodge has everything you need, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, good wifi, everything is clean. It is very close, about a 20 minutes drive to Volcanoes National Park. I highly recommend to stay here if you visit Big Island. The hosts are so kind and helpful they really put their hearts and mind into this little lodge. Hale Hualalai ligger i Kailua-Kona och erbjuder boende med utsikt över havet, gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering, 8,9 km från Kaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park. The breakfast was amazing. It was nice to get island information from Ricky. The suite was very comfortable.

Detta bed and breakfast ligger 20 km från Ahalanui Park i Pahoa på Hawaii. Här erbjuds utsikt över trädgården och en gratis kontinental frukost med hembakat bröd och sylt. We had a wonderful stay at the Tropic Inn! Irene, the owner, is an amazing host, you can really feel that for her running this B&B is a dream come true. Every morning she prepaired a delicious breakfast with fresh fruit from her tropical garden, Kona Coffee, homemade marmelades, juice etc. She also served other local products like bread and yogurt. She gave us a LOT of really good tips, as she knows the island like a true Hawaiian or maybe even better... The room was very big and clean, the beds were comfortable and the shared bathroom was also perfect. Towels were changed really often, as there is a lot of humidity, but there was no bad smell at all, which was great being in the middle of the jungle. You can park the car in front of the house (yes, you definitely need a car to move around!!!) and wifi was working really good. The Tropic Inn is close to the last lava flow, which ist very interesting to see ("end of the road" nearby...). It is a really good location to visit the Vulcano national park and Hilo, amongst others. We definitely recommend this accomodation and wouldn't want to stay elsewhere on Big Island (we know, we have to come back;-))

We were upgraded to a master ocean view suite, which was spectacular. The view and sounds of the ocean were the backdrop to our deeply relaxing and inspiring stay. The location is easily the most beautiful on the island. The swimming beach was fantastic and my husband was pleased to be able to snorkel right on the property every day. The breakfast and different options for food were plentiful, healthy and delicious. And the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, special and comfortable. We also enjoyed the complimentary yoga and sound bath sessions and I enjoyed a world class facial with the excellent Cindy at the spa. We loved the whole experience and will be back!
