Wow, shocked at how bad this hotel is.

Wow, shocked at how bad this hotel is. I don’t think you can really call it a hotel. Tiny rooms, zero view, very run down. Hotel restaurant has some of the worst food we have ever had and is super expaive. The pool is a kibitz pool shared with residents.

Its such a beautiful place, I will come back again and again. Ein Gedi Beach is closed. But you can reach Kalya Beach by bus or car in half an hour. Or you go down south, there are plenty of beaches there.

There were a lot of houseflies everywhere! ;-( The place has potential BUT it is really not clean... I don't recommend it, it was torture for us to stay there. What more my friend hanged a lightly wet dress in front of our tent and it was stolen.

A gorgeous oasis in the middle of the dessert. Birds, ibixes, hyraxes. The David waterfalls is beyond gorgeous. The hikes are great and moderately difficult. bring LOTS of water and go first thing in the morning before the throngs of school kids come.

If you want to have a silent night, don't stay here.

If you want to have a silent night, don't stay here. It's a very nice camping, with a lot of fun, but we had to get up early at 4.30am (to climb the massada), so the music which was still playing loudly till 11pm (or later) was just not a good option. But if you like fun in the evening, it's very excellent place. Thus I'll recommend it strongly in that case. The (public) bathroom is very clean.

The apartment and its location are beautiful. It's located within the kibbutz itself, so you get a glimpse of kibbutz life, but you have access to the hotel facilities; the pool is a short walk through the botanical gardens of the kibbutz and you receive a 10% discount at the hotel restaurant and spa. There is a view of the Dead Sea from the balcony and stunning views of the surrounding desert. The hostess, Bar, was super friendly and helpful. If we needed anything, she provided it. Overall, we had an amazing stay. It was hard to leave!

Excellent choices at dinner and breakfast. Lovely to have the SPA now within the kibbutz - with easy access. The planning of all the rooms and spaces gives such a sense of privacy and space, as well as safety. COVID precautions were also in place. There is a shop which isn't so common in the area, so with the fridge in the room, there can be a lot of chill facing the awesome desert mountains. Bathroom was huge with a bath with a view to the desert. In terms of Dead Sea options, this is really the best.

When asked, they happily provided a 2nd, larger top sheet. They also were happy to provide hot water for coffee we brought, at no extra charge, even though they sell coffee. They were helpful with directions. Plenty of refrigerator space. A birthday party for a 5-year-old boy was a surprise. WiFi was strong in the common area.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Rooms were clean and big and comfy. The staff was really nice, at first when we arrived, we asked for a different room and immediately got what we asked for. Hotel restaurants are very good. Overall we are pleased with our stay and would definitely return in the future.

dreamy spot, amazing views, vans with all the amenities, showers and toilets clean enough, very chill common area (pool table, table tennis etc.), the vans even have bbq grills on the terraces, you cant buy coal or wood at the camp lodge though, have to get it at the minimarket in the Ein Gedi Kibbutz.
